Why should you donate to the HELP no kill, no cage animal shelter?
Besides having a no-kill, no cage animal shelter we also have a MATCH UP SERVICE that has saved the lives of thousands of additional dogs and cats by advertising in the local newspapers, and on our solicitation tables and on this site, to find people who are looking for good and healthy dogs and cats and MATCHING them up with others who are looking to find good homes for their loving pets.

How much does it cost to adopt an animal from the HELP Animal Shelter?
There are no fixed adoption prices at our shelter as we are totally donation based. Please bear in mind though that HELP pays much more than $50 for every animal that we have spayed, and much more than $30 for every animal that we have neutered. Please also consider that HELP has kept the animal healthy, fed and sheltered, all at a significant cost.

What kinds of animals are available at the HELP animal shelter?
HELP shelters primarily dogs and cats, however other animals are available from time to time such as birds, pot belly pigs and other assorted animals.

What types of donations are needed by the HELP animal shelter?
HELP is in desperate need of all types of donations including, cash, animal food and even volunteers. Since we have a very large storage facility, we also accept cars, boats, trailers, recreation vehicles, buses, land, storage sheds, appliances, furniture and anything of value that can be resold to help us care for abandoned animals.

What types of volunteers does HELP need?
HELP needs volunteers in all areas pertaining to animal care such as veterinary care, grooming and general animal care. We need automotive mechanics to repair donated vehicles and carpenters to maintain the shelter facilities. We also need volunteers to accompany adoptable animals to places such as PetSmart and shopping malls aiding in their presentation to the public for adoption. We also need volunteers to foster animals to save them from being killed.

May I return an animal to the HELP animal shelter if the adoption doesn’t work out?
Yes, you may. We ask that you give the adoption every chance to work and have patience with the new pet. But if the adoption does not work out for you, we will accept the animal back into our shelter with open arms. Back to Top
